How it works: It is the photoreaction, with the presence of N-ZnO, sunlight is absorbed by the nano particle. This photocatalytic activity would create electron-hole pairs, generating free radicals (e.g. hydroxyl radicals: OH) able to undergo secondary reactions. The secondary reactions could turn harmful chemicals, virus, pollen, bacteria, odour, etc., into water and CO2.
